A picture dated 25 January 2007 shows Egyptian blogger and 22-year-old former law student Abdel Karim Suleiman looking out of a police bus after his trial in the port city of Alexandria, 100 kms north of Cairo. According to judicial sources, judge Abdul Fattah Murad confirmed 12 March 2007 a four-year jail sentence for the blogger for insulting religion and defaming the reputation of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Egyptian bloggers have recently come into the spotlight as an important forum for political debate but also as the target of government attempts to limit their freedom of expression. AFP PHOTO/STR
