So far, pictures coming from Damascus were very rare. Between July 4 and August 8, Carole Alfarah, a young Syrian photographer has interviewed Damascenes from the middle-class by asking them two questions: "How do you perceive the revolution in progress?" and "How do you see Syria in the future?"
